Noncredit Digital Badges


Overview

Oregon State University offers noncredit digital badges to recognize and celebrate professional development, participation and service. These LinkedIn-ready credentials are designed to validate and share achievements in a modern, portable format, whether you're an Oregon State employee or a noncredit learner.

As part of an initiative led by the Division of Educational Ventures, OSU colleges, divisions and units can issue badges across three defined categories: Professional development, Completion and participation and Service and recognition. Learn more about each badge category »

How it works

Nondigital badging at Oregon State is managed collaboratively between DEV’s Alternative Credentials Unit, University Information and Technology and University Human Resources.
